At Maria and Barth Foundation, our focus is people: children with disabilities, older people, and those who care for them. We are working towards a care team and a care academy, bringing family support and carer development into the same conversation.

Caring for a child with disabilities or an ageing parent can bring questions, responsibilities, and difficult choices—especially when trained support is limited. MBF’s direction recognises the needs of families alongside the people they care for.
By developing a care team and carer training, we are working towards stronger support for the people who give so much of themselves.
