About the foundation

Rooted in care. Guided by dignity.

Supporting people means recognising the families and carers beside them. That belief is at the heart of Maria and Barth Foundation.

Who we are

People, and the people beside them.

At Maria and Barth Foundation, our focus is people: children with disabilities, older people, and those who care for them. We are working towards a care team and a care academy, bringing family support and carer development into the same conversation.

Maria and Barth Foundation supports children with disabilities, older people, and the families and carers who stand beside them.

Our purpose

Care that respects.
Support that understands.

Our purpose centres on care that respects dignity, support that recognises families, and the development of trained carers. These priorities guide what we are building and the conversations we want to have.
